Brenda and David Liebler, 43 and 44 respectively, were arraigned in 73rd District Court on Sept. 12 and demanded preliminary exams, which will be held Oct. 15.

The husband and wife are both charged with: delivery-manufacture of marijuana, weapon felony firearm and maintaining a drug house.

The multiple month investigation by the Sanilac County Drug Task Force resulted in a search of their home on Peck Road by mid-June.

The officers found processed marijuana in the freezer, eight shotgun/rifles, a loaded 44 magnum and $22,000 in a locked safe. Initially both of them denied any knowledge of the cash.
