UPDATED: Wednesday, November 5, 2008 HARBOR BEACH - Like they have done most of the season, the Brown City volleyball team needed the minimum games to win their final match of the regular season last Thursday night. With their 25-18, 25-18, 25-23 victory at Harbor Beach, the Lady Green Devils became the outright GTC East champions, the school's first-ever league title in volleyball.

Merlann Keinath, Mike's mother, decided to do something about that, and a tradition in Eagles football was born.

Brown City was riding high with a No. 3 ranking in Class C and teams like Cros-Lex and CPS were starting to show some very positive play.

UPDATED: Wednesday, October 1, 2008 HARBOR BEACH -- Cha-ching! That's the sound of the Cros-Lex Pioneers cashing in on another cross country title this fall. The Pioneer boys picked up the Harbor Beach Invitational title this past Saturday. It was the team's fourth first place trophy of the season to go along with a pair of runner-up finishes at invitationals and wins in the first two BWAC Jamborees.

UPDATED: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 BROWN CITY -- Probably no one had an idea that Brown City was ready to make a statement in GTC East football quite yet. The Green Devils, though, spoke up big time Friday night.
